Refund policy
At Black & Tan, we want you to feel confident shopping for your bunny. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.
Returns may be requested within 7 days of delivery, based on the tracking information provided by the carrier. Requests submitted after 7 days of confirmed delivery will not be eligible for return.
To be eligible for a return:

Items must be unused and in original condition

Items must be returned in original packaging

Proof of purchase is required
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
To start a return, you can contact us at blackandtanbunnyessentials@gmail.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 2959 Eskridge Rd, Fairfax, VA 22031. Include your order number and the reason for your return request. Once reviewed, we will provide further instructions. To process certain return requests, we may request additional information, including clear photos of the item and packaging. This helps us verify condition and resolve issues as quickly as possible.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
We do NOT collect a restocking fee.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including (but not limited to), chew toys, chews, and other chewing/teething/grinding toys. For hygiene and safety reasons, all chew items are final sale and cannot be returned. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
